ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာတွေသာစစ်မှန်နေရင်ဘယ်လိုအခက်ခဲမျိုးကိုမဆိုကျော်ဖြတ်နိုင်ပါမှာ

Hi, I’m Jamie. Welcome to my running journey. I’ve always been active, but until my mid-30s my focus was strength training - weights, calisthenics, that kind of thing. Running was just something I did occasionally, usually 1–2km as a warm-up. In 2019, one of my best friends took his own life. It was difficult to process, and towards the end of that year I found myself running more and more. That time alone, away from the noise of everyday life, helped me through the grief. At the start of 2020, I set myself a challenge: 60 half marathons in a year, raising funds and awareness for Campaign Against Living Miserably (@calmzone). At the time, it felt impossible. That was also the year of Covid - gyms closed, and running replaced all other training. I finished the year with 70 half marathons, an ultramarathon, and a new passion. Since then, running has become a huge part of my life. It keeps me physically and mentally fit, gives me space to learn and reflect (usually with an audiobook), and helps me navigate tough times - including losing my mum to cancer in 2022. With three young children and a busy career, life is full-on. But by getting up early and moving while the house is still asleep, I start each day feeling ready for whatever comes next. Being able to move is a privilege, and I don’t take it for granted. There’s no finish line I’m chasing - no target pace or goal race. Just the aim to be a little better, mentally more than anything, than I was yesterday. Every run is a journey. And I grow with every step. #Running #runner #runlife #runningmotivation #MentalHealth
