I’m confused, I got pregnant while still exclusively breastfeeding 5 months pp. From my understanding you can still ovulate without your period returning while postpartum.

Girl off topic but I know you have mentioned that your baby has CMPA and my 7 month old has it as well and I have literally no idea what it looks like once she turns one!! Have you started reintroducing dairy to your baby??

And don’t be discouraged if your baby is a lil fussy at your breast during your periods, usually because your milk tastes a little different but it’ll go back

OMG! Are we the same person??? I literally got a spotty period back last month, and then this month I got the whole enchilada lol. Fingers crossed neither of us have to stop nursing because nursing is my life lol

I continue to breastfeed while having regular cycles! I just take a calcium magnesium and vitamin d3 supplement to make sure I’m getting enough for my cycles!

Got my first period this month at 14 months postpartum. Noticed a significant decrease in supply. But now back to normal. I truly I’m not ready to wean but also don’t even know how to. Thought we were doing less feeds and suddenly a new tooth is coming and he wants to breastfeed more again.

This. I got pregnant in July and I was like wait there’s no way and I didn’t even have a period but it was def from me just on and off breast feeding and weaning… but unfortunately I had a miscarriage. But crazy how nursing affects your hormones. Cause like what…!
