IMF losses reported in their books is not an economic loss or a loss due to negligence or incompetence but they re service cost. Go n read the IMF report, page 27 n point 50. Get someone with accounting knowledge to explain to u. if NPP is attributing the accounting loss of BOG to Goldbod, then from 2017 to 2024, BOG made losses only, can we conclude that; PMMC, or Gold for oil program caused those losses?? meanwhile, BOG is not a profit making entity, theirs is to stabilize the economy, build reserves, regulate financial institutions etc. Why is NPP trying to attribute a service cost of an entity as a loss for different entity just because they partnered BOG to do gold business??
