The prices honestly aren’t even cheaper. I found a resale YSL $1,800USD. I looked online before I purchased because they were pressuring me and I found is in the US for $1,200 🙃

Honestly osaka is where it’s at! My sister and I reserved one day out of our tokyo trip where we went to osaka for vintage shopping and the prices were much better. I was able to get this dior for less than $2k and then also got a lv bag in great condition for $800. However, I will say this was in 2025, and I feel like so many people are traveling over there now to buy all the inventory for their vintage stores, so it’s definitely changed the landscape.

I went there for a week and felt like i went all up and down through out Japan and 99% of the items were either trash or the same price as an actual bag. A lot of the stuff was soooooooooooo crusty and old looking I was like bffr lol

Honestly you gotta go in knowing what you want. The first time I went, I ended up buying my dior saddle bag brand new bc the I wasn’t happy with the condition of the vintage ones. Most of the stores have online boutiques where you can browse before you go. The second time I went, I found exactly what I wanted. But you can absolutely find a great designer bag online 🥹
