I am not a microsoldering expert why did this show up on my search

Vivo X200Pro glazer😈 :
you don't need a hot air station it could be done with a soldering iron

all traces seems to be intact so yes, unless you fuck the thing up its fixable

LB_BY_OTTI :
if you use a regular big soldering iron you will just fuck it up but with a hot air station and small soldering iron its easy fix

You need a special attachment for the soldering iron for the glue on flex cables. It doesn’t look like it was soldered in the first place

was there even any flex cable?? the rip was very clean i dont think it was there in the first place, i dont even see any traces or tin of it being soldered, maybe it was another method of connecting flex cables like ZIF, but that looks like it could be soldered back, make sure you still have the flex cable and bring it to a proffesional. you cant do it yourself you have a very very high chance of messing up with regular tools

Originally it was bounded using ACF tape. Theoretically you don't even need soldering for that at all. You need to clean pcb and flex cable, than using acf tape bound flex cable back with clothing iron or something else that hot and flat

All the traces are intact so yeah should be working if that’s the only problem

Thats not microsoldering, That is most likely a heat flex which is “permanently” attached to the board solder would not be able to accomplish this. There is soldering iron attachments you can buy on temu. This is just like the TV screen flex inside the panel, I forgot what it’s called but it’s either very simple or you need a really big and expensive machine

Sure I would just get rid of any excess ribbon and clean with Isopropyl and a qtip then retin all the pads and resolder new flex with flux and medium temp solder and make sure there are no bridges of solder that could short anything

easy fix, if you want a tutorial search: "Screen replacement keypad phone" the videos have a very similar type of microsoldering which is drag soldering, you will need a soldering iron almost 8 dollars, flux and solder string 3 dollars, i recommend using a regulable soldering iron over the shitty regular soldering irons

is possible, be sure of getting good flux and also using low temperature tin.
be sure of testing the soldering iron on another similar mobo Start with 220c. then be upgrading slowly the temperature and testing the best temp profile.
need tutorial send dm.
