@rachaeltrimboli: I realized I was keeping my money in a bank that was making money off of me… while I was earning basically nothing. 😳 So I finally made a change. I moved my money into a high-yield savings account and honestly, I wish I had done it sooner. Because if my money is going to sit there anyway, I’d rather have it WORKING for me instead of just sitting there. And no, this didn’t mean changing everything about the way I bank. My bills still get paid. I can still access my money. My day-to-day life pretty much stayed the same. The biggest difference? My money can actually earn interest while it’s sitting there.
