I get full pay for been off sick when I need but if I was to abuse it I lose it. So I don’t but if I’m off work for 6months due to an accident I know I’ll have no stress about money while off.

I worked for DWP as a fraud investigator, and looked and 10s of thousands of cases, the amount of people getting more than people working full time on minimum wage is astronomical, that’s not including having there rent and council tax paid for them also.

As I’ve got older i realise this so much your absolutely spot on I used to bend over backwards going into work with no sleep going in sick covering peoples shifts pffft

Too this day I get angry with myself, when I was younger 10years ago I injured myself at the gym and got a doctors sign of note for 6 weeks. Everyone was bitching about it so I come back after a week. Looking back why the fuck did I do that because I don’t even know them people anymore 🙄

Called in sick yesterday im a care assistant the manager hassle s all blab blab letting team down etc many are constantly worried. My phone goes to answer phone when work ring.
