I love Ugliest House in America bc you get to see cool houses and I like Retta, but a lot of the houses are just not current trend. And the worst part is no matter how original that house started it’s about to look exactly like every other Alison Victoria house—which looks like a Pinterest board

I keep seeing them push open shelving in kitchens which makes me scream. It just means your dishes are dusty and greasy. Not to mention there is less storage space. Now I’m seeing some back away form it because now everyone has done it. I love your attitude about decorating!

i don’t really have a good pic but there’s a big arch above our bay window in the front room that’s been there since it was built in the 1920s / 1930s. I think it’ll be fine for at least another 100 years xx
