I remember someone once telling me that our prayers are answered. Help comes, but not always in the way we expect. Because sometimes, God has something greater in mind. He wants us to learn. He wants us to awaken. I remember a time when I prayed desperately to God, asking Him to take me out of a situation if it was not meant for me. But then, He blessed me with pregnancy. At first, everything felt chaotic. I was overwhelmed, afraid, and unsure of what the future would look like. But as time passed, I realized that my daughter was the greatest blessing, the greatest love I never knew I needed. My daughter has healed me in so many ways. In ways I cannot even fully explain. She is the one who puts a smile on my face and brings laughter into my days when everything seems heavy. She needed me… but perhaps, I needed her even more. She became a living testament that God's grace is infinite. It felt like; “You failed, but you are still loved. Learn, grow, and come back.” I may have once been His lost daughter, but when I found my way back to Him, He did not turn me away. He opened His arms wide, welcomed me home, and provided for me and for my daughter in ways I could never have imagined. He made me feel His love thru the people who genuinely care and love me. I met a lot of strangers who helped me get through the process, no price paid, and conditions, just infinite compassion. I was never alone. He was with me throughout that process. Some people may have abandoned us, but the love God has shown me is something I cannot compare to anything else. Indeed, at first, we only know what we know. We question. We hurt. We wonder why certain things happen to us. But as we continue walking through life, we begin to unveil the greater purpose behind the things we once could not understand. Sometimes, what we thought was an ending was actually a beginning, a greater blessing! And sometimes, the answer to our most desperate prayer comes in a form we never expected. For me, that answer was my daughter. That help was my daughter. My answered prayer and my greatest blessing. And I know that I am slowly returning to my real self. Because there was a time when I felt empty, vain, disconnected, speechless. I had lost the part of me that used to express, create, and put feelings into words. But now, I have started writing again. And somehow, through writing, I feel myself coming back. Perhaps God is not only bringing me back to Him, but also bringing me back to myself. Sometimes, we just have to be awake and open enough to understand it. To recognize the signs. To see the blessings hidden within the struggles. To trust even when we do not yet understand. Because God has always been with us. And perhaps, He has never been as far away as we thought. He is with us. He is within us. And the plot twist, the greatest miracle is realizing that while we were asking God to change our lives… He was quietly leading us back to who we truly are.❤️
