Those scooters are not even legal to be on the street and they drive like idiots zipping through traffic. I’ve even seen them on the shoulders of the Don Valley Parkway.

1) to cause death, i imagine the scooter was going way to fast and launched him pretty far. 2) helmet or no helmet? 3) lights or no light on the scooter? 4) opening doors and didn’t look? Seems to me 2 were to blame

The speed that the scooter was going was likely a factor that killed him. If it was slower, he probably would survive.

why would the driver leave his door open? getting out of a vehicle should be done with caution observing for any riders or pedestrians...this needs to be investigated!😳
