Congratulations! I was fortunate to stay with my daughter and her 1st for 9 months on the other side of the country. My granddaughter and I are extremely close. She’s almost 4 and my grandson is 2. They are the light of my life. (Only got to stay with my grandson 3 months as they needed my bedroom for him). Enjoy your mama and family!

I did both of my pregnancies mostly alone, especially the second one during the pandemic. Now I have a great group of friends who are starting to have babies, and I will not let them feel as I did. Same with my future DIL.
