The short answer is YES… but there’s a catch. 👀 After our RV side table broke on a travel day, we did what any full-time RV family would do… we put a cardboard box next to the couch, added a lamp, and called it furniture. 😂 Now, we’re finally upgrading to an actual piece of furniture for our RV living room. And after more than a year of full-time RV living, here’s what we’ve learned: you absolutely CAN use regular household furniture in an RV or fifth wheel — just be prepared for it to take a beating on the road. 🚐💨 Between the constant movement, bumps, turns, and vibrations, furniture can shift, slide, scratch floors, and eventually start showing some serious wear. Especially if it isn’t secured to the wall or floor. So while we’re upgrading from luxury cardboard to actual furniture, we’re also figuring out the best way to secure it and make sure it can handle life on the road.
