@kat_g_morgan: I, myself, have experienced intrusive thoughts/scary compulsions that I fought with medication and therapy. Luckily I’ve never experienced psychosis, but the intrusive thoughts are brutal. I get scared even saying it out loud because it makes it feel more real. Until you’ve experienced postpartum OCD/Rage/Psychosis, you cannot know how the brain works. There’s no way to describe how you feel almost out of body when those thoughts come in. MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS THE MOST.
