@gracemsyo: There is an entire world between rap and reggae music. Rap is Black. Birthed inside the belly of the empire, it fights for survival within a political category manufactured by Western capitalism. When stripped of its revolutionary teeth, its ultimate corporate aspiration becomes individual inclusion—turning street-level rebels into billionaire oligarchs who serve the existing machine. Reggae is African. Anchored in sovereign, ancestral memory, it completely rejects the definitions of the neocolonial hierarchy. It names the global system "Babylon" and demands the total destruction of imperialist extraction and mental slavery. True liberation can never be achieved by perfecting your place within the oppressor's definitions. It can only be achieved by completely operating outside of them. ✊🏿🔥 #rap #reggae #tupac #bobmarley #ideology

Sir Me :
One thing that gets overlooked is how corporate America eventually caught on to rap. Hip-hop came from the streets—raw stories about poverty, racism, politics and survival. Once they realised the culture could make serious money, they didn’t have to silence it; they just commercialised it. The message slowly shifted from “this is what we’re living” to “this is what we should want.” Money, violence, status and materialism became easier to sell than consciousness. The mic was still in our hands, but the industry started deciding which voices got amplified.

continuous degradation of blacks but we rise, then they take what is ours and make it theirs. their inferiority complex is what drives all the hatred. they can't stand seeing blacks thrive in anything if it's not serving their interest.😡😡
