Best strats are subsecond hold times, sometimes a few seconds, 10plus sharpe. Shorter the hold time, assuming informed player, higher the sharpe.

Yeah prop firm rules were designed as such for a reason. Not to mention the move to live from a funded after x earnings, so a bigger move strategy/algorithm might not even be able to reach its full expectancy. Done a lot of testing around it, quite annoying

I have an edge. I've observed exactly what you've said... too safe doesn't do it .. too big and you blow up... but if tested .. with a good edge .. knows where to step on it. I'm not sharing my full edge .. it's too advanced and everyone only wants a signal.. so you teach and the Algos learn to counter what you've found . .. put in the work... small account first .. just pass .. not search for income .. buy a new account .. compound .. scale .. copy .. in time you can trade less and pick the perfect move .. then you should have mastered patience .. because that's the hidden secret to get there .. put in the reps ... and earn it .

But what if I pass it and get 2k payout from 100$. I’m not complaining 💀 people who use prop forms obviously know the risk and the fact that they want us to fail. We are traders after all💀 I’d rather blow an account for 100$ then deposit 2k into tradovate and loss it all in two days.

Honestly the way to actually pass these easier is just don’t use a stop loss because your loss is max at your fees and just long/short some extended area just some funny ideas 😂😂😂
