I don't think people in these comments comprehend how good Magnus is. He is a 2800 Elo. Let me clarify what that means, no one else is a 2800 Elo. 2500 Is a Grandmaster. 2600 was already considered world champion level. See on Chess.com when you beat someone of higher elo than you, you jump elo. However if you beat someone of lower elo than you, you only get a couple points if not just 1. So if he wins a match he gets like 1 point, if he loses, he loses like 20-30 maybe more depending on who he's playing. He climbed a hundred elo over literally everyone else. Hes been rank 1 for 14 years. Beat 4 Grandmasters at the same time, on 4 boards, while blindfolded. In every world championship match he remembers literally every move played. He can tell what the entire boards looked like mid game from random games throughout history. Then further quote every move made. Dude is a freak of nature when it comes to chess. Literally the best player EVER

just for public people. the gap from Magnus (#1) and Hikaru (#2) is enormous. if you're anime fans, people describe Magnus Carlsen like Gojo satoru. some phrases like.
