@alsandzaqi: ⁨Sharḥ as-Sunnah – Imām al-Barbahārī (329 هـ), No. 104 || Al-Imām al-Barbahārī رحمه الله said: واعلم - رحمك الله - أن العلم ليس بكثرة الرواية والكتب، إنما العالم من اتبع العلم والسنن، وإن كان قليل العلم والكتب، ومن خالف الكتاب والسنة فهو صاحب بدعة، وإن كان كثير العلم والكتب. (English translation: ʿAbdus-samīʾ ʿAbdus-salām - Dār al-Makkah): “You should know- may Allāh (عز و جل) have mercy upon you - that knowledge is not by lots of narrations and books. But the scholar is one who acts upon knowledge and the Sunan even if he has little knowledge and few books.
