First, I would like to thank the Nuer community for standing with us in Luwero. Your support means a lot. Secondly, I want to make it clear that I am not here to divide our community. I am speaking because I believe this situation is becoming dangerous, and I don’t want anyone to lose their life because of an artists’ beef. To those asking, “Who is the winner?”—come and see for yourselves. Musically, I believe I have already proven myself. I would never pay anyone to kill TR or harm anyone because of music. I have money, but I would rather use it to feed people, support them, or help them find better opportunities. I received a voice recording that I understand was sent by TR to a man known as Riek Manyang Gatwich Mai, also known as Diga Mafia. He is from Mayom, but I don’t want people to react emotionally or turn this into a community issue. According to what was shared with me, the young man was connected to the Young Nation Boys, a crew we previously shared a concert with. He came to our show as part of the security team and helped us throughout the event. After the show, while he was on his way home, he was allegedly attacked and stabbed in the hand. What concerns me most is what I was told about the reason behind the attack. I was told that he refused to harm Bravo Kiss or KOKO because he believed doing so could create a serious division among the Nuer community. Whether every detail is accurate or not, this situation needs to be investigated properly. I personally helped with his hospital bills because I consider him my brother. I pray that he recovers fully. If this is where an artist’s beef is heading, then we have gone too far. If TR wants to compete musically, let the music speak. The response is already in the song “Kushsound Anthem”: “Cia set ci nhok e baro kon seet jock.” There is no need to send people after each other, but if you want, we will see. To my Nuer brothers and sisters, and to everyone watching this: please don’t turn an artist’s disagreement into a community conflict. If someone is accused of trying to harm another person, let the matter be reported and investigated through the proper authorities rather than answered with revenge. To my brother who was injured, stay strong. I pray you recover soon. We need peace, not another tragedy. And to all Naath: if someone tries to harm you and fails, what is the strength of a man? Is it revenge, or the courage to stop the cycle and protect your people? Let the music be the battlefield, not our streets. #foryou #foryoupage #Bravokiss
