@minsamoto: There are so many manga that are popular enough to have a dedicated fanbase, but still feel underrated when you look at the amount of discussion and recognition they get compared to the usual mainstream picks. That’s what I wanted to focus on with this list. I’m not saying these are completely unknown or that nobody appreciates them. Some of these are actually very well regarded within manga communities. I just think they deserve a lot more attention from the wider anime and manga community, especially when conversations about the best manga usually revolve around the same handful of series.
