I would argue she made the right decision. starring in a movie alongside Leonardo dicaprio and Christian Bale doesn't necessarily mean better roles in the future. look at Cristin Milioti.... while she has a successful career how often do we see her?

heat was generational..heat 2 just has big names tied to it. I think Inde is a gamer, so there's a decent chance she likes comics and understands how big it is for X-Men to finally be in the MCU.

She would’ve been amazing in HEAT 2. These studios throwing roles at her aren’t doing any favours for her. If x-men fails. Won’t be renewed and she’ll probably lose popularity slowly after the course of a few years BUT heat 2 would be a GENERATIONAL film that would solidify her as the great actor she is. Just feels very sad because she deserves better than a marvel film ngl

What people are forgetting is that Inde is a huge nerd, so when she has the opportunity to star in a marvel movie as a famous x-men character she’ll be playing for years, and get paid millions of dollars doing it. Of course she’s going to take that role over the heat 2 and a random horror movie. Anybody in their right mind would make that decision.

her only roles is a depressed or mentally struggling teenage/young adult girl... i dont think marvel action shouldve been an option... but time will tell. we might end up seeing her just dropped and made a side character like some of the marvel characters because they weren't impactful or engaging enough to watch.
