I tired the mre meals a bunch of times with different ones. None of my family was in the military that I’m aware of but the meals were given to us as we were poor growing up and we always ate the meals growing up if we didn’t have any other sources of food. It was bad when I was a kid

I never tried one but I was at a friend's with another friend house for a sleep over and his step father started to cook one (turned out to be what I was going to eat) but the smell alone made me nauseous so I ended up going home. I would never make it the military.
