Les Paul didn’t invent the electric guitar, that would be George Beauchamp and Adolf Rickenbacker in the early 30’s, Les Paul pioneered solid body guitars about 10-15 years later using already existing electromagnetic pickups

my great grandfather grandpa sholtz played with him. he made the original electic guitar with paper clips and a piece of wood. At least thats the story i was always told.

He did come up with one of the first solid body guitars, but he didn't invent the electric guitar. He was a great guitar player, and i've been to his grave many times but let's give credit where credit is due mister roberto
