@prosecutorspod: Emily Thorndike, a licensed clinical social worker and former McLean Hospital employee, appeared for a voir dire after her viral TikTok challenged how the hospital’s care and holiday staffing had been portrayed during the Lindsay Clancy trial. Thorndike worked in McLean’s short-term unit for roughly seven years but left about a year before Lindsay’s admission. After questioning her outside the jury’s presence, Judge William Sullivan denied the defense’s request to call her as a witness.
