A fight over a turkey inside a Food Lion grocery store exploded into a parking lot shootout, according to police in High Point, North Carolina. Officers say the argument started when 64-year-old Mark Foye became irate at store employees. Witnesses say Foye wanted a special promotional price on a turkey, but Foye apparently hadn't bought enough other items to qualify for the discount. Another shopper, 55-year-old Antonio Johnson, allegedly didn't like how Foye was talking to store staff and tried to intervene. Cell phone video captured by a customer shows Foye shoving Johnson then swinging a bag containing canned goods at Johnson's head while shouting obscenities. Johnson responds by grabbing Foye and punching him repeatedly. Foye then draws a pistol and aims it at Johnson's head as fearful customers and employees scream inside the store. Johnson disengages from Foye and walks away, but police say he went to his car to get a gun of his own, then confronted Foye again resulting in a gunfight. Police say Johnson was ultimately shot in the arm, but say his injury wasn't life threatening. Police charged both involved men with going armed to the terror of the public and simple affray.
