I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️I went through my fathers death that happened after a stroke leaving him unable to communicate. There was so much I wanted to ask. All left to god now. All I can tell you is that it does get better. And take advantage of therapy if you can , it really helped. ❤️

I'm SO sorry for your loss. I think I have an idea about your feelings. My brother, who had a degenerative neurological disease, moved to his wife's home country because they have national health care. I spent several years taking care of our parents, with zero help from any of my siblings, and they set up a generous trust for me. After they passed, my sibs & their families all ganged up to try to sue me, and we because estranged. I kept in touch a bit with my nephew & assumed he would tell me when my brother was getting worse. He didn't, until the day my brother died, but the time difference meant the message came in the middle of my night. When I rang him back, it was too late. It's a horrible feeling to know that you have no way to try to make things right, or at least better, and no chance to hear their voice one more time. It hurts like hell to have a relationship end badly, and have to live with that forever. Take gentle care of yourself. ❤️🩹 Sending love & hugs.

hugs to you! I had an ex who was estranged from his adult kids. I was amazed he didn't attempt to repair it and became quite a large red flag for me to his entire persona. maybe his current fiancé and her daughter approve?

I went through this a year ago. I don’t know your situation exactly, but ours sound similar. we were not close for many years. I did not get closure on the issues. He passed and the first week after I was a complete wreck. Now I’m sad to say, since that time I don’t think of him much, and I no longer feel sad. I missed what there was to miss for many many years and it seems done now.

Hugs mama. Both of my parents live 30 minutes away from me and have disowned me going on about eight or nine years now. And seeing how you’re grieving through this gives me kind of an expectation or an understanding of how I will feel when they have come to pass.
