PSA: I put anything my dog touches in the dryer with a wet wash cloth or towel. It accumulates most of the hair so it will clean better in the washer. Then I wash.

Oh girl I was doing the same cleaning routine as you until one day I saw a video of someone taking the top completely off and actually exposing the whole drum 😩😩 the little bit of scum at the top of the drum is MINIMAL compared to what you’ll find. It is disturbing 😳

I take the dog wash to the lavanderia to avoid the mess in my washer. It takes a few dollars and about an hour but it really takes the worry out.

pop off the softener cylender take it to the sink and clean it then you can clean inside the under where the softener flows into the tub.

Looks awesome! I’ve been using pricey tablets, but I’ll try your way next time. I have a big GE washer and dryer set. A friend brought her bed linens over for months, and I later found out she was washing cloth dog pee pads in them. I was beyond upset. I had to fully sterilize both machines, which was expensive, and they weren’t even a year old. I was livid.
