@tbdnd_: I’m incredibly happy with how this stone turned out (and glad it’s over) thanks so much to all of you that have been following along with this crazy project. Now it’s time to build a fireplace! #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #tabletopgames #DIY #ttrpg

I love what you’re doing, but if that board had snapped when you laid on it I would have laughed😂

Dude, when you fell on that piece, I was TERRIFIED for you that it was going to break in half. It looks way better than I expected it to at the start of the video. Excited to see the final result!

this is gorgeous work, I love it, but make sure you add some extra overhead fire protection for that room in particular because covering up walls with that looks like flashover/flashpoint central (same reason bars/clubs with noise-suppressing foam on walls have such fast hot and fatal building fires). not saying you cant do this at all but I def think you should look into automated sprinkler systems and fire safe venting systems etc just in case :)

how durable is it? I feel like you bump into it and it would crumble

There is this cool product called stack stone and all you have to do is glue it to the wall. Bonus it’s also real stone so feels genuine even tho it’s fake.

Are you going to coat it with some kind of epoxy to protect it before you paint it?
