@markhor_islam: Shaheed Lieutenant Faiz Sultan Malik, a young officer of the Pakistan Army whose courage and sacrifice remain unforgettable. When his father was informed by GHQ (General Headquarters, Rawalpindi) that his son had been martyred, he was asked where his son’s mortal remains should be brought. His response became an unforgettable example of a father’s courage and pride: “If my son has been shot in the chest, bring him to Chakwal. But if he has been shot in the back, leave him there.” Hearing this, the GHQ officials told his father, “Congratulations, Sir. Your son was shot 22 times in the chest, and he eliminated 35 terrorists.” The brave officer not only led the soldiers under his command from the front but also carried a wounded soldier in his own arms and brought him to safety. That soldier later embraced martyrdom at the Military Hospital in Peshawar. It is also important to mention that on June 11, 2009, during Operation Sher Dil, this young officer was martyred after reportedly going two days without food due to the difficult circumstances in Mohmand Agency. His story reflects courage, leadership, sacrifice, and above all, the immense pride of a father in his Shaheed son. 🇵🇰
