I never knew this had a science. But i always thought rock was the most common opening and therefore my opponent would start with paper. So i usually start with scissors and they get shocked. Most of the time it works. And i repeat a lot too. I usually win lol.

My husband and I did rock paper scissors the other day to decide who would do the washing up and instead we did the same move as each other for about 15 turns in a row, we gave up in the end 😂

I mostly just do rock again and again and again. My opponent always think there’s no way I’m going to pick rock again. I may pick paper once or twice but it’s just based on vibes

Interstingly the name of the game is different in different languages. Ex english is “rock paper scissors”, German is “scissors rock paper” - but the sequence seems to still hold up 😳

in my experience I've found that most people start with scissors, whenever I've been in a group of new people I've played this with them all and I've won most of the time with rock
