So yes, we are doing it properly. Sparkling gowns. Elaborate jewelry. Fae ears. Masquerade glamour. The whole fantasy. For one night, we’re channeling our inner fae princesses and living inside the kind of world we usually only get to visit in books. And this trip is about more than the ball. I really believe you need things on the calendar that make you excited about your own life. Something to plan for. Something to work toward. Something that makes you think, I cannot WAIT for this. Life cannot just become work, bills, errands, laundry, sleep… repeat. Sometimes you have to deliberately create the thing you’re looking forward to. Book the trip. Wear the ridiculous gown.
