One of My uncles isn’t a good person by any means, but everytime he sees someone who’s either already cropped or is about to crop a pittys ears he takes them. Cuz 9/10 the people cropping them are doing it at home

my dad always wanted our boxer to get her ears posted aswell as her tall docked cuz he had one before that had both. tbh, idk how I feel about the docking but still, both these procedures aren't legal in my country so we didn't do any

Another big thing is that ear posts are NOT bandages on cropped individuals 😭 I’ve been stopped in public and criticized online several times already when I go out or show my beauceron puppy with his ear posts in. So many people assume they’re wrapped because they’re bleeding or healing lol. Ear posts on cropped dogs should only ever be done once the ears are 100% healed and free of any scabs!

our Sheltie was from a confirmation line, but couldn't be shown because of her bite (her teeth weren't a perfect scissor bite) so she was sold as a companion/pet. Her ears were very gently taped down when we brought her home to keep their fold. She was in ZERO pain.

I accidentally posted my puppies ears when she had to wear a cone for multiple weeks. We took the cone off and the ears just never went down 😂

all three boys I have set their ears with my border collies, and so technically posted I suppose LOL my girls stood automatically. and I like tipped or erect ears and other of my boys were going to have floppy ears. and no surgery and no cropping involved LOL but people think it's cruel to set ears even without cropping so there's that

ik i should prolly ask a vet but just wondering if anyone else is knowledgeable, my ex got me a puppy from his sister's coworker, his dad is an aussie/collie and mom was an American Pitbull terrier, ive noticed over the past few months(hes 6 months rn) that one ear tries standing sometimes but one ear hasn't at all, because of his breeds will either stand up at all or will they stay floppy? my rescue pit mix is a complete mystery for breeds abd by 6 months his ears had already started standing up almost 24/7. I'm not asking due to preference just curiosity
