How would you route pipes if they AC is needed on a party wall of a semi detached house? Would you go up into the loft and through to the back of the house then round?

Are singles technically better? I wanted a multi unit to go around the back of my semi detached, had to wait months for it. I do hope it’s worth it and is as good as 2 single units, off it depends what outdoor unit and indoor units my local installer got for me. I hope he doesn’t undersized them after all this
