Told my husband after we lost our daughter I wanted a black Devon Rex cat and to name him Oscar. That week a black Devon named Oscar popped up at the cattery nearest to us. Half off his original price. 5 months old, which our daughter also would have been. He is my everything

Many years ago my wife and I had to make the worst decision to have our cat put down. We were poor and he had cysts in his liver. The day came and I held him and apologized profusely to him that I couldn't fix him. He HATED his cat carrier. When I was done speaking he got off my lap and walked into his carrier and looked at me as if to say "it's OK dad. It's time". I will never forget his love and bravery in that moment. For weeks after, my wife and I (at the same time) would catch him out of the corner of our eyes running into the room. I now live in that house again (after 12 years) and every once in a while I see him.

I was in a full body cast when I got tboned .. my cat would sleep directly on top of me at least touching my skin somewhere. when the pain subsided months later he moved to sleeping next to me and when I was out of the cast/braces a year later, went back to sleeping at the foot of my bed. I have the best cat in the world I've never met a cat like him 🥰

my cat is often in my dreams. the dreams aren’t about her but she is with me through it all. my theory is that she astral projects into my dreams to see what i’m doing 😊 (she’s super clingy and sleeps right next to me)

Both of my children were home births; they were born in a birthing tub we set up in the house. Both times, when my wife went into labor and got into the birthing tub, our cat, Ning-Ning, came into the room, crawled into a spot tucked away on a shelf, and stayed right there, not moving, staring intently at my wife through the entire birth process. We really felt like she was somehow guarding or protecting us, holding a frequency that kept us safe. It really FELT that way; this was not a theory or deduction we came up with. 🐈⬛

one of my past cats used to lay against the ice packs I used for my migraines like he was making sure they didn't fall off. and when he was about to pass away, I found him under the bed with my other cat he didn't get along with. it looked like they were having a silent conversation. the other cat who was never loving towards me, took over as my protector once the other died.

I have 2 sons, both rainbow babies, meaning I had multiple devastating miscarriages prior to each one. My cats were always in tune to my pain and had purrs that were loud motors. During the pregnancy with my first son, my beloved cat, Mr. Cakes passed away. 10 years later when I was pregnant with my second, my beloved cat, Lil Abner passed away. I am convinced that my boy cats made a bargain for my boy humans to have life. I always tell my boys that they are my cats reincarnated. Strangely, both my boys have traits that remind me of my beloved Mr Cakes and Lil Abner. 💕

my cat woke me up to burglers/robbers entering my garden, she growled at the window so I knew something was wrong. I called the police. my neighbour had 2 dogs, they never made a sound!!! she's my guardian, Pumpkin 💕
