@ugcwithnyomi: Replying to @Nyomi | Dutch UGC Creator If I had to start as a content creator again, these are the things I’d actually spend my money on 👇🏼 My creator essentials: 🎥 A good tripod Make sure it can actually reach eye level! You’ll use this for talking videos, full-body shots, product content… basically everything. 🤳🏼 Magic arm One of my favorites for getting creative with angles. You can clip it onto so many different surfaces and get shots that would be impossible with a normal tripod. 💡 Clip-on light Small, easy to bring with you and perfect when you just need that little bit of extra light. 🎙️ Wireless microphones Good audio makes such a difference. I’ve used the RØDE Wireless GO II for a long time and recently switched to the DJI Mic 3. Both are amazing, but I love how small the DJI is and the magnetic clip makes it super easy to use. 💾 External storage DO NOT underestimate how quickly content fills up your phone 😭 I use 2TB SanDisk drives to keep my footage organized without constantly running out of space. 📱 Magnetic neck mount Perfect for POV content. Put it around your neck, attach your MagSafe phone and you can film hands-free. 🎤 Handheld microphone If you ever create street interviews or presenter-style content, this is such a useful addition to your kit. 📹 Phone rig I use one from SmallRig and LOVE it for B-roll and shoots outside of my home. It gives me much steadier, more controlled shots. And one thing I wish I had invested in MUCH earlier: 🖥️ An ergonomic editing setup. An ergonomic keyboard, mouse, mouse pad and an extra monitor might not be the most exciting creator purchases, but PLEASE don’t sleep on these. I learned that lesson the hard way after dealing with a serious hand injury from overusing my hands while editing. Your setup matters when you’re spending hours behind your computer.
