It’s funny hearing mortgage lenders talk about all these “requirements” like the current system is working perfectly. The reality is that the housing system has become extremely difficult for the average working person. Home prices and borrowing costs have risen much faster than many people’s incomes, while lenders have become increasingly cautious about who qualifies. And here’s the part people need to understand: the problem isn’t always that people can’t afford a house — sometimes the system’s definition of “affordable” doesn’t match real life.

My wife doesnt have an AMEX and her credit card's limit was reduced by about 20% unbeknownst her until she tried to use it. I told her the same thing you're saying here.

Sending this video to my cousin... literally 2 days ago she told me she doesn't understand why Amex, out the blue, gave her a credit limit. No missed payments or lates. Luckily she purchased a house a year ago.

Ma’am, folks stopped paying rent and the airbnb market dried up two years ago and we jumped ship on those investments last year. This has been in the water and those federal layoffs were the kiss of 💀I am WORRIED for the entire country.
