@imolelehmann: This AI drone is basically a cowboy in the sky. It can find a herd of 2,000 cattle and move them anywhere, it just takes three taps on a phone and nobody piloting it. The company is called Brumby, and its founder raised $1.2 million at just 19 after growing up on his family's cattle ranch. Here's how it works. The farmer maps out the fields, gates, and water troughs once in the app. Then they tap where they want the cattle to go. The drone flies out and moves behind and around the cows to gently steer them through the right gate. It watches how the cows are moving. ' If they slow down or head the wrong way, the drone moves closer. If they start getting stressed, it backs off and gives them space. It never even has to touch them. The cows can even hear the propellers from up to 100 meters away, and if one needs a little extra nudge, the drone can direct the airflow onto its back. But moving the cows is only half of it. During the same flight, Brumby counts the animals, checks how much grass is left in each field, and looks for broken fences and empty water tanks. So by the time the drone lands, the farmer has a fresh report on the entire property. Brumby says it can cut the cost of moving cattle roughly in half. Turns out the cowboy of the future might have propellers.
