I feel like I was watching this and totally brainstorming along with you but you couldn’t hear me. 1. Yes, it looks like kissing, 2. I love the idea of the shadow and transparency to make it all make sense, and 3. I love the visual of the lighter shadowed one, but I like how the words disappear more with the darker. i’m curious if your printer would be willing to do an offset print? it would lay down ink differently than laser or inkjet and be more like a screen print. you could also consider exploring a letterpress option for this solid coverage as well. i believe in your idea!
