@vf_3d: This started out as an attempt to create water caustics (light patterns on surfaces underwater) with the 'Shaders plus' add-on. Honestly though you can barely see the caustics in the final render. I used dynamic paint for the water simulation and it was pretty difficult to get the settings right. But then I had a scene with just rocks and water, so I decided to add a lotus flower. Followed a geometry nodes tutorial by MTRanimation on YouTube for the blooming effect! The Time Tracker add-on says I spent 9.5 hours on this, which is insane to me. #blender3d #digitalart #cgi #lotusflower
