Half of Americans don’t know that Trump’s mass deportations are not deportations but mass detentions for profit. The federal government pays these private detention owners a housing fee for each detainee for every day each detainee is held. They’re detaining but not deporting. There’s no mass deportation taking place, it’s just mass detention. That’s it. This mass deportation idea is just another one of Trump’s scam, hardly anyone is being deported.
