I'm an emerald creator and I'm like part of the top 1% or .5% I always do campaigns I use the hashtags for the campaigns. I get 5 to 10% bonus commission on things I sell for the campaigns and I win competitions last month. I won an additional like three grand.

I don’t know I was an emerald creator for a couple months. Before that Ruby for a couple months My PPS score went down to 1.6 and every since then I have been stuck at platinum

I actually agree with your bigger point that product selection + better creative are what move the needle most. My only hesitation is comparing a fresh account run by you to a truly new creator starting from zero. You were one of the early affiliates, built a huge sales history, and learned the platform when Shop was much more of a gold rush. Today newer/smaller creators are entering a far more mature platform with more competition, more policies, and creative that has to work much harder to turn cold traffic into buyers. TikTok also openly says it collects device/IP data, can identify activity across devices, analyzes video/audio characteristics, and Shop tracks creator sales + performance. So my intuition (not something TikTok publicly confirms) is that when you open another account, TikTok may still recognize “this is Nick” and have more confidence testing/distributing your content than it would with a completely unknown creator. That doesn’t take anything away from your skill, you earned that track record. I just think it’s an important variable when newer creators compare their “fresh account” experience to yours.

If a company that regularly runs ads or whatnot on my videos for them has certain hashtags they want being used, then yes I will do that. Also, if there’s one attached to a campaign, that’s also very likely. Other than that, I don’t put a lot of thought into it because yes, everything is always changing. For TikTok Go I do concentrate on campaigns because that’s where I’ve made a good bit of extra change from. I know I’m never ranking on TikTok shop campaigns so I may join them, but I don’t really focus on them or doing extra amount of videos for them.

PPS score kinda important bring the lower it goes the more alarming the entire channel the higher the higher views and sellers give samples. The rest on the list ok sure.. hmm hashtags though important too.
