For reference, I also interact with my audience a lot and when teenagers message me I talk to them about political theory and jokingly tell them to do their homework and clean their room. Talking about your appearance is 100% inappropriate and strange. Do not feel guilty for sharing this information. It can be hard to process if what you’ve experienced is actually inappropriate or you’re just being “dramatic” because society teaches us to “be cool” but it’s not cool and you are not overreacting. That is deeply concerning behavior, and you definitely did not deserve that. Every adult should know teenagers test the waters, it’s a time to practice growing up. It’s up to the adults in the room to remember you’re a child and respond accordingly. Thank you for speaking up. ❤️

so sorry this happened to you but so proud of you for knowing this was weird and protecting yourself. I've been running a tumblr blog about this sort of stuff since I was 16 myself (28 now) which got a lot of backlash back then because I was being a "whiny teenager" on the wild west internet but I know talking about that stuff has helped more kids in the newer generations recognize when something isn't right. I hear less stories of kids being taken advantage of and more of them being creeped out and calling out weirdos. wishing you the best healing from this 🥺🩵
