The first aerial bombardment of a fort in Africa did not happen at Taleh. It happened in February 1915, and the precise location is the Dervish fort at Shimber Berris (often spelled Shimbiris or Shimber Berris).

The Nomad. :
Very shortly after (or on the very same day, depending on the specific pilot reports), bombs were dropped on a second Dervish fort at Medishe (Midhisho).

The B.E.2c aircraft used in 1915 were too weak to reach Taleh (hundreds of miles inland through extreme heat and altitude). The aircraft could barely fly over the coastal Golis range. Taleh was only bombed 5 years later, during the famous (and much more effective) 1920 campaign by the RAF using DH.9 bombers.
