@amandastarstream: Actually, Joe asked me to marry him 5 times over a 24 hour period. And I said yes all 5 times. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster. One moment I feel so so close to death, the next moment so alive. On top of that mountain, 2 nights in a row, with a magical sunset, friends, fire… I needed to hear it 5 times. To say yes 5 times. We just wanted to do it again and again, and every time it became more real. We are saying yes to life. To whatever the future brings, in darkness and light. We choose love and truth, no matter the challenges. The first time he asked, I cried for 12 hours, until the next morning. Instead of feeling so bright about our future, I felt sad because dying suddenly felt so real. I don’t want to leave Joe. I don’t want our dreams to go unfulfilled in this lifetime together. I needed a stronger yes to life. So let’s do it again. 4 more times, until I could jump up and down saying YES to life, to my love Joe, to our future together and to simply being here right now with all that is. Yes to this moment.
