i agree wholeheartedly but please understand that shaving can truly be a sensory thing. i dont like that this totally valid viewpoint is often brought down by denying that people can actually shave for themselves. I only shave my private area and its entirely because it uncomfortable if i dont. Before i could shave, i was constantly uncomfortable and in pain from that hair. Some people are lying about it, but some people really do just have sensory problems. -an autistic person

Make up is really not a good example because make up can genuinely be ARTTTT. It's expression and it's BEAUTIFUL. And no matter the gender, we humans love beautiful things! And beautiful does not mean attractive, or sexual in any way. We want to express ourselves and be different and try stuff out and and and :3 Personally if it weren't for men, I would be wearing way more makeup. I just do the basics but of I didnt fear creepy men staring at me I would experiment a lot more! :]

I cannot stand the “I shave bc I have sensory issues” specifically. bc I’m sorry I just don’t buy that all of us are shaving for that reason and that’s FINE, but I wish we’d just be honest about it!! like why then have I never met a single man shaving bc of his “sensory issues”?
