A strictly shopping area. You go to many cities small and big such as Chicago, Detroit, Traverse City, Holland and there’s a whole strip of stores for shopping the you can walk. Had a business downtown and so many people from out of GR would ask where’s the shopping district here? Monroe Center has potential but it’s pretty dead. Division is too sketchy and chaotic. Has some vintages stores but everything is spread out. Might as well just go to the malls to shop because there’s nothing down here

Something to actually do along the damn river. Why isn’t there a lively riverwalk area with bars, restaurants, Game areas, etc? Would love the ability to sit along the river and have a dinner.

A return to mass community events like the Rob Bliss events such as Zombie Walk, Lanterns Event, etc. Maybe not the same exact events but something that gets the community together for an event that will be remembered forever.
