... because she breached the contract.. if i remember correctly, the surrogate AGREED to the abortion & had an appointment set up herself. but then she decided against it (cool). so the couple decided they wanted to have the baby delivered in California, so he could have surgery there. THATS when she fled to texas with THEIR baby.
