I was just at the WTC station last week and did not know this. I am kicking myself😡 I did not get to see.

They aren’t original beams from 9/11 they are original beams from the WTC. Just a slip of the tongue I think but still.

I wouldn’t say fun facts but I can say that watching the array of videos available this week has been so special, as a person unlikely to have a chance to visit and pay my respect in person it’s a chance to fill the chapters with more than the images we see regularly. In many ways they may be quieter but they are every bit as important as the focal points created as memorials. Thank you to all who have walked the streets and shared these quieter memorials, they hold a place in my heart half a world away.
