Everything is alarming and concerning. But none of it even matters somehow.

Dear my 2 cents lady, in my neighborhood in FL, I saw 5 restaurants that closed in the past 3 months. If my economics knowledge, this is a red flag of an economic recession. yet, I don't see no alarming reaction from the citizens. So, we shall see how ppl will vote in November

My understanding is that the continued scarcity and consequent high price diesel is actually a bigger problem going forward

Can you imagine what gas prices and federal deficit would be if we hadn’t won the war in Iran?

Mr. Global says that oil prices, hence gas prices, will not probably ever go back to what they were before the orange man’s war because of the record profits being made by the oil companies. Your two cents?

@MKDorDiggsy: I just bought tickets for a flight next month. This is a place I visit a few times a year. The price is twice what it was earlier this year. Without change, the holiday travel season will be a sad one.

I think the rich has gotten used to looking over the middle class head. We are in a recession. People are not buying kids now clothes for school. Food is so expensive and half of it you can't even eat. The lesson we middles have learned is we don't need half of what we thought we did. NEVER GOING BACK.

Suburban Detroit: the low is Costco at $3.99 and everyone else is $4.05 to $4.40. We were at $2.58 a gallon at the end of February.

Is it true that we are printing money again to buy back our debt? I’ve heard some say this and the diesel prices alone are gonna really hurt, as if they aren’t already are painful.
