@charlottes_life47: Replying to @Hans what newborn size should you get? There are actually multiple sizes in the “newborn” category and it really depends on what size your baby will be. Some scans you go to, you can get an estimated weight on your notes but you will also be having measurements of your bump that they will plot and it can also help with the size trajectory of your baby. If you don’t have growth scans, you can use the estimated percentile to have an idea but with all these they are just estimates and you can’t get a 100% accurate weight until baby is here! If in doubt just get a mix and buy more once baby is here! #newborn #babyclothes #babyweight #pregnancy #motherhood
due early Oct and I've just gone through all of our baby clothes and split by the weight rather than just the generic 0-3 months, who knew they'd make it so complicated 😅

Both my babies were estimated under 5lbs and I had one 7lb 9oz and one 8lbs 12oz just as a warning 🤣. I would always just but 0-1month clothes now though and if they are way to big I would next day delivery some smaller babygrows

Keep in mind too that most babies lose some weight after they're born. My baby was born 7lb 9oz and 3 days after he weighed 6lb 15oz. Hes currently 9 days old and 7lbs 5oz and is swimming in 0-3 month clothes lol. I didn't buy a ton of newborn cause I didn't think he'd wear them very long if at all, they were projecting he was going to be 9lbs if I made it to 40 weeks (spoiler alert I did not)

When my mum was pregnant with my oldest brother, the estimated weight was miles off 😂 around Christmas, they told her he was 5lbs and would gain 1lb a week until birth. He was born 5 weeks after Christmas so she was convinced she was going to have a 10lbs baby, she was terrified. He came out and was 5lbs 😂

My baby is predicted to be between 5-6lb… having her next week. She is inbetween sizes 😂 (story of my life) I’ve just stuck to newborn 7lb-8lb stuff because I fear tiny baby will be too small haha. Can be so confusing!!
