What baffles me about this video is the idea that, “no matter what a mother-in-law does, you have no right to tell your partner that you’re unhappy about it.” That “no matter what” statement is absurd. There should be context to what actually transpired between the wife and her mother-in-law. What kind of home are we building for our daughters if they aren’t allowed to voice their feelings? There will be times when our parents hurt or offend us, intentionally or unintentionally. Expressing how we feel about their words or actions that hurt us should not automatically be labelled as disrespect. Respect should go both ways, and marriage should be a safe space where your partner can tell you when something has hurt them not a place where they are expected to suffer in silence simply because it involves your parent.

Madam being married doesn’t mean you lose your right to boundaries. It’s honestly ridiculous to expect someone to tolerate disrespect simply because it comes from their mom in law. Respect is a two way street, regardless of age, title, or family position.

So she should allow the disrespect to continue? Omor, nothing like ‘if it’s your mom’ my mom would never talk to someone’s daughter in a disrespectful manner. There’s nothing wrong in telling him.

Welcome to Bealach na Ba! Commonly known as The Applecross Pass, this road has the steepest ascent of any road in the United Kingdom. The hairpin bends wind up to the 2,054 feet summit with stunning views if you can handle the terrifying twists and turns! Set in the Applecross Peninsula, its single road track even features a turn known as ‘the devil’s elbow’ which is extremely tight and unforgiving! A popular route to or from Applecross on Scotland's NC500. However, I would be very wary about taking it on in a motorhome or bigger. I personally only drive it at sunrise in my van, firstly for the views looking back down the road and in the opposite direction to the Isle of Skye from the summit but ultimately, I get it to myself & it's less 'nerve-wracking' to drive. Whenever I'm on the NC500, I always buy local & from honesty boxes along the way outside of farms and take advantage of the freshest fruit and veg I've ever tasted. Buy local, dispose of your rubbish appropriately, be considerate on the roads for locals, they'll appreciate it and pay you back in kindness I guarantee it! In winter, it's often impassable to pay attention to the conditions and signage along the way! #Scotland #scottish #vanlife #vanlifediaries #vanlifer #nomadlife #scotlandexplore #thisisscotland #unlimitedscotland #unlimitedbritain #ukexplores #explore #travel #adventure #visitscotland #scotlandisnow #yourscotland #instascotland #roadtrip #hiddenuk #hiddengems #nc500 #scotlandtiktok #scottishtiktok
